The Best Commercial Landscape Contractors in Atlanta: HighGrove in the Top 10 Again!

Every year, the Atlanta Business Chronicle publishes a list of the 20 best commercial landscape contractors in Atlanta based on commercial landscape revenue. Last year, HighGrove Partners was in the top 10, but as you’d imagine, there’s a lot of competition to make this list, based solely on the number of gorgeous verdant, flowering spaces dotting our fair city.

So imagine our delight not only to be named to the list for another year but also to find ourselves among the 10 best commercial landscape companies in Atlanta yet again! For 2012, we clocked in at No. 6.

It’s been a big year for HighGrove, with two other placements on national lists in a short time. In Lawn & Landscape magazine’s May 2012 issue, we earned the No. 88 slots on their annual Top 100 list, which celebrates owners taking big steps to keep growing their businesses.

And just the next month, in June, we also earned a spot on Landscape Management magazine’s list of the 150 largest landscaping contractors in the industry — we’re No. 95 on the list.

In the numbers game, it doesn’t get much more exciting than being placed on these lists. But for us, as commercial landscape contractors in Atlanta, they only scratch the surface of what HighGrove Partners is as a company. We’re relentlessly customer-focused, and revenue and profits are only part of our success in catering to our customers, from Turner Field and Morehouse College to smaller clients.

The other three ingredients in our recipe for success and happy customers: quality, service, and people. We pride ourselves on a rich company culture that cultivates and celebrates employees who love their jobs and the work they do.

The culture we’ve created here doesn’t just help us hang on to those valuable employees — it also creates powerful bonds with our clients, the center of everything we do, that extend far beyond services rendered. We’ve even created a customer advisory council and are now an approved real estate school.

We also stay involved with the landscape industry at large, both locally and nationally, to be better for our clients and keep this dynamic industry moving forward. We work a lot with the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET), including spending Earth Day 2012 performing community service by beautifying Emory University Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital grounds.

We hold regular town hall meetings to keep everyone informed about what’s going on with HighGrove, formed a community service committee to make sure employees can give back to our area, and invite everyone to an annual retreat to share ideas and get to know their colleagues better.

It’s great to be recognized by publications with reporters and editors who have their fingers on the pulse of this industry…but what’s truly important is every client’s satisfaction.
