Giving back is one of the essential core values of the HighGrove brand. It’s such a rewarding experience to take time out of our busy schedules to do something that improves our local community no matter how big or small. Thanks to our community service arm, HighHopes, we are able to support those that are making an impact in and around our city daily.
HighHopes is a program established by HighGrove where employees make tax deductible donations through payroll deduction to support local community service initiatives.
Last year we were able to support several different organizations in the Atlanta area. Take a look back at some of the amazing projects.
SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOLS OF GWINNETT
HighGrove was a proud sponsor for the Annual Ride for Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett in September. The Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett provides educational and therapeutic programming for children with and without disabilities.
Each year the nonprofit hosts an annual bike ride in order to raise awareness and funds for the school. Riders are escorted on a 60-mile ride throughout the entire Gwinnett county.
HighGrove presented a contribution to Operation Atlas during the Veterans Day Program in Winder, GA.
Operation Atlas PTSD, founded in 2014, was formed to assist individuals who suffer from PTSD through therapy dogs. With the wait time to receive a trained PTSD dog being 2-3 years, Operation Atlas adopts dogs from local rescues and trains them for their future home. Operation Atlas is not only helping a veteran but saving the life of a dog as well.

NORCROSS COOPERATIVE MINISTRY
NCM is a faith-based, non-profit, ecumenical ministry dedicated to providing emergency assistance to families in Norcross, Georgia and surrounding areas of Gwinnett County.
NCM is supported by twenty three local churches and numerous businesses, civic and social organizations, foundations, and individuals. They currently serve 50 – 70 families per day.
HighGrove enjoyed spreading a little holiday cheer to provide assistance to families in the Norcross area.
SHEPHERD’S REST MINISTRY
The HighGrove family was able to participate in the annual office Angel Tree. The Angel Tree is a unique program that allows employees to commit to an individual or family and fulfill their wishlist for Christmas. The presents were then presented to Shepherd’s Rest Ministry.
Shepherd’s Rest is a family violence crisis center, located in Paulding County, GA. They concentrate their efforts on enabling and empowering abused and homeless women in becoming self-sufficient by providing them with skills in problem resolution, coping, parenting, and practical job market/ job retention skills in an effort to break the cycle of domestic violence.
CALVARY CHILDREN’S HOME
Calvary Children’s Home provides a safe, loving, Christian environment for children needing placement apart from their families, where each child is given the opportunity to reach their full potential in their personal, emotional and spiritual life.
HighGrove was happy to provide a contribution in order to help boys and girls in crisis experience new beginnings.
